The dunes are running over a distance of more then 10 km with a height varying from 10 - 25m. The dunes are a sensitive area, the base is sand and walking in the dunes will make the sand slide down. Please reduce the walking up and down on the dunes to a minimum to preserve the dunes from corrosion.
This is a big area and it is normally no problem to find a spot without people, when there are people in the dunes the weather is nice and not mush wind and to fly a wind > 6ms is required and there is not many people. During winter time you can have the spot for yourselves. Do not try to enter the dunes from the beach side this will destroy the dunes and is forbidden.
From road 181 Cost road or from Ulfborg with 537 to Husby. On the north side of the church turn west sign to (Grĉm and Vesterhavet) following the road to the Park area at the end of the road. P is at the "a" in "Skavemose".
Everything can fly in Husby but it can be difficulty to find a spot to land. The area behind the dunes are turbulent and not suitable for landing ground for anything else then EPP aircrafts.
